Dr. Eric Smith, MD

Eric W. Smith, MD, is a primary care physician who enjoys building relationships with adult patients and helping them recognize health problems before they become severe. He treats a broad range of chronic illnesses including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, high cholesterol, obesity, asthma and allergies, as well as acute sickness. 

Dr. Smith earned his medical degree at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport and completed an internal medicine residency at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  

Away from the clinic Dr. Smith enjoys relaxing with family, listening to music and reading. He especially enjoys spending time with his wife, two grown children and his grandchildren.
