Dr. Craig Miller, MD

Craig Miller, MD, cares for adults who have a broad range of conditions, ranging from the common cold or flu; to musculoskeletal injuries; to chronic illnesses like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and allergies; even depression and anxiety. Spending time with patients during their annual visit builds a useful rapport as he teaches patients about their health conditions and motivates them to become active in their own treatment and lifestyle decisions. Dr. Miller guides patients to identify health outcomes they want to achieve and advises how they can reach those goals. For patients with diabetes, this includes working to adopt healthier eating habits and increasing physical activity. Helping patients manage high blood sugar and obesity often results in a reduced risk of diabetes, stroke, heart disease, depression, hormone dysfunction and more.

A Louisiana native, Dr. Miller earned a degree at McNeese State University. He then graduated from LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at the same location. Dr. Miller is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
